HIRSCHLER WINDSCREEN

The first glass production shop was founded by Rezső Hirschler in 1899. His business was specialized in art and architectural glazing.
The profession was passed from one generation to the other, keeping the tradition and gaining more and more experience in the glass business. As vehicles became more and more popular after the 1970’s, the production of rear-view mirrors became the most important activity, which led to significant development of the company.
Following the footsteps of his ancestors, László Hirschler founded Hirschler Üvegipari Vállalkozás in 1989, creating the basis of current windscreen production. Due to the continuous developments the production increased year by year, our product range expanded constantly, technologies satisfying the highest demands were introduced.
By 1999, the 3200 m2 factory proved to be too small, therefore the planning and preparation of a new plant was started. Two and a half years later, in 2001, the new plant was inaugurated.
Thanks to the investments in 2005 and 2007, the new plant reached its current floor-space of 26.000 m².

The 100% privately owned enterprise is a dynamically developing company in the field of glass manufacturing in Hungary. In the production of laminated, tempered, insulating and technical glass our experience is combined with the latest technology. One of our key advantages is innovation. The machines and equipment are fully designed and developed by ourselves. The high flexibility is one of our characteristics, the improvements and the modernizations are performed according to the customer specifications in order to ensure the highest quality. We develop the technology to the product. The production is made up of three main product groups: laminated, tempered and insulating glasses. The first group is completed with the quite new light-weight glazing construction with aluminosilicate (Gorilla) glass. Despite of the fact that we are a growing and relatively large company, we can handle the demands of our customers flexibly, next to this we could also maintain the values and culture of the family business as well.
